July Classic Review: Neighborhood Fiber Co.

From the Studio to the Street

When it comes to certain dyers, once just isn’t enough! We’re proud to once again feature
Neighborhood Fiber Company, whose soft yarns and amazing range of colors never ceases to catch our eye! Originally inspired by the diverse neighborhoods of Washington, D.C., they continue to offer a range of yarns that reflect the beauty of the urban landscape.

This month features Studio Worsted, a 100% super wash merino, 4-ply worsted weight yarn. We’ve paired each eight ounce skein in one of their gorgeous kettle-dyed colors with a two ounce mini-skein in a coordinating neutral. Each set totals 500 yards, perfect for some cozy accessories.

Top (Bright): Gywnn Oak + Thomas Circle, Canton + Thomas Circle, Washington Circle + Thomas Circle, Truxton Circle + Thomas Circle
Bottom (Muted): Rosemont + Charles Centre, Palisades + Thomas Circle, Lauraville + Charles Centre

Knit designer Annie HaasSabine is a simple yet elegant lace and garter stitch shawl with a matching border using the neutral mini-skein.

Marie Segares created the crochet set In the Neighborhood, which includes a slouchy beanie and keyhole scarf with a 2-color band design.
