Many of us have the personal goal of using our Yarnbox yarns immediately before our next one arrives. Some of us are better at this than others. I, personally, am not one of those people (hangs head in shame).
Like so many others, my yarns don't get immediately worked up. But I like to look at it a different way. I think of the yarn sitting here just patiently waiting for the right pattern to cross my path. And it's these projects with these skeins on stand by that we celebrate on Throwback Thursday.
First up, we have Krista's A Noble Silky Cowl made from Emily Kausalik's A Noble Cowl pattern with Siidegarte Siide-Flauschig from our March 2014 Yarnbox Classic. Krista's goal this year is truly a noble one as she tries to wip down her stash. I would say that she's off to a fabulous start!
Okay...so this one isn't throwing it back too far but it's just too pretty not to share. Knit designer and member Gabrielle Vézina just completed this project in her King Cowl pattern using her Farmhouse Yarns Andy's Merino II from our October 2015 Yarnbox Classic. She renamed this particular project "The King Cowl that will keep my face warm" and those of us in cold climates are totally envious!
Feeling inspired by these projects? Dig throw your yarn stash and throw it back to one of those great, patiently waiting yarns! And if it happens to be one of your Yarnbox yarns, share it with us in our Ravelry group, on Instagram @yarnbox, Facebook and Twitter! You never know...yours may be the next project we share!
