Another week...another Free Pattern Friday! It looks like it's going to be a cold weekend here in Chicago so we're getting our weekend projects ready to work on where it's warm and toasty. Here are a couple great ideas we stumbled upon that fit the bill.
Look at those cables. I mean...look at them!! The Wildwood Cowl from Overcast Knits is a great project for those looking to practice their knit cable skills. Grab your 10.0 mm needles and bulky yarn and get stitching!
Yarn Suggestions: Andy's Merino II
Fingering weight yarn plus crocheted waves or zigzags give you this fun Golden Gate Waves Cowl designed by Aline Koch. This is a great pattern for self-striping, tonal and solid yarns or, as shown in the picture, yarns with a little sparkle. Great for yarn weights of fingering up to worsted!
Yarn Suggestions: Louet Gems Fingering, Seven Sisters Arts Meridian, The Verdant Gryphon Bugga
Cast on and start chaining these projects this weekend with any of your Yarnbox yarns mentioned above or hit up our Overstock Shop and begin dreaming about your next WIP!
